Verdict
We deal with a lot of products when it comes to cleaning roofs, and we can safely say that this product does a pretty decent job. We do agree that for some heavy-duty cleaning needs it does come up short, however for what it was advertised it actually performs up to the standard. That means that if you have a mild problem with Moss, Lichen, Mildew or even Black algae spots you can safely use this product and remove the stains.
On the other hand, once a sure buildup of moss has been achieved it will either take several coats to remove the problem, or it will fail at its task. That is probably due to its nature-friendly ingredients as you can’t have your cake and eat it too. Which means that for people that need to perform some heavy-duty cleaning of a roof that has not been cleaned for a decade, you will need to get to the scrubbing part if you plan to only use ROOF WASH.
